1. Acceptance

By accessing or using DriveStat (drivestat.em95.org), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

DriveStat is a free, client-side web application that visualizes the contents of your Google Drive as an interactive treemap. It is provided "as is" and runs entirely in your browser. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

3. Google affiliation

DriveStat is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise approved by Google LLC. "Google", "Google Drive", and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC.

4. Your Google account

To use DriveStat you must authenticate with Google and grant the app the drive.metadata.readonly scope. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You can revoke DriveStat's access at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service to violate any law or the rights of others.
Attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or overwhelm the service or Google's APIs (rate limits apply).
Use the service to access data you do not have authorization to access.
Use the service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair it.

6. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE AUTHORS, COPYRIGHT HOLDERS, AND OPERATORS OF DRIVESTAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE, THE WEBSITE, OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE OR WEBSITE.

8. Free and open source

DriveStat is provided for free as an open-source project under the MIT License. There is no paid service, no service-level agreement, no support obligation, and no promise that the app will meet your needs. You use it at your own risk.

9. Intellectual property

DriveStat's source code is released under the MIT License (see the project repository for details). The name "DriveStat" and associated logos are the property of their respective owners. "Google Drive", "Google", and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC; DriveStat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.

10. Termination

We may change, suspend, or stop publishing the hosted website at any time, without notice. You may stop using the service at any time by signing out and revoking DriveStat's access to your Google account.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
