1. Acceptance

By accessing or using DriveStat (drivestat.em95.org), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

DriveStat is a free, client-side web application that visualizes the contents of your Google Drive as an interactive treemap. It is provided "as is" and runs entirely in your browser. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

3. Your Google account

To use DriveStat you must authenticate with Google and grant the app the drive.file scope. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You can revoke DriveStat's access at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service to violate any law or the rights of others.
Attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or overwhelm the service or Google's APIs (rate limits apply).
Use the service to access data you do not have authorization to access.
Use the service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair it.

The "Move to Trash" action permanently moves the selected file to your Google Drive trash. You are solely responsible for the consequences of deletion actions you initiate through the app.

5. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATORS OF DRIVESTAT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $50.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of DriveStat from any claims or damages arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

DriveStat's source code is released under an open-source license (see the project repository for details). The name "DriveStat" and associated logos are the property of their respective owners. "Google Drive", "Google", and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC; DriveStat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties. You may stop using the service at any time by signing out and revoking DriveStat's access to your Google account.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operators reside, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
